What's wrong with this picture? When laws run contrary to the common practice of the people, who is wrong? Our children are doing exactly what we did with our music. We shared. We traded. We gave away what was ours'. We bought it didn't we. It was fair use. The practice today is no different. Look at the price they are getting. This stuff is not getting sold or used for commercial purposes. The music industry is not hurt with these actions (look at their earnings reports), but they will be. I for one, and how many of us are there? --- will never buy one of their labels again. The DMCA is anti-American; it must go! It is time for a tea party. Seriously, this is the kind of irresponsible legislation that destroys the economy. The money, a great deal of it is taken out of productive circulation, often tied up in court for ages. ---end of rant---
