aNeoconservatism has failed the United States! "Pull it down," says it's most influential architect, Francis Fukuyama, Washington's most influential political writer. He calls it Leninism in it's execution and I would agree. Colonialism and Communism were idealistic concepts carried to totalitarian extremes and so too may be globalization and the exporting of Democracy. Once again the wisdom of "Star Wars'" prime directive seems relevant. Capitalism can lead to sanctioned exploitation and certain corruption in a culture struggling to obtain water and the vestiges of an Agrarian Economy. A conservative strategy, would switch back to the Peace Corp. Naive? Perhaps.
