Devilution of Democracy

Two thousand five hundred years ago Plato described the self inflected death of democracy by hubris and greed in his book the Republic. When legislators become secure in their power they legislate self-interest rather than the common good.

Today in Washington, we have what may be worse yet -- two political parties governed not by man or by logic but by two theological monsters, invisible yet all pervasive infinitely expansive and dedicated to their own perpetuation power and growth. Both parties utilize dogma, polarity, division and self serving belief systems to gain further power and control, fed not by votes but by money. Even then the theologies redirect the money to their own ends devouring truth, logic and democracy while enslaving legislators with the promise of tenure wealth and immortality. These two evils are destroying our democracy just as certainly as democracy was lost to the ancient Greeks.

Castrate the Donkey, the Elephant and all lobbyists. Only individual independent constituents should have access to legislators. Acknowledge that all money-contributions are bribery and not free speech. Impose term limits. Bring both houses back to the people by increasing the turnover of legislators. Decree that all caucuses be open to all parties. Give equal voice to independent or other party candidates and legislators. Insist on more listening and less lecturing from politicians at all levels. -- Dream on.

This election will determine the future of the American Republic, Western civilization, and potentially the survival of the human species. Plato suggested that democracies tend to devolve into oligarchies, and we are witnessing that transformation before our eyes. Three major trends in the U.S. threaten to replace our Constitution and representative government with a totalitarian, internationalist, socialistic oligarchy. First, seventy years of Soviet subversion, the Vietnam War, and generations of youth who were taught to reject American institutions have undermined U.S. leadership. Now, Chinese espionage, bribery, and infiltration further contribute to the erosion of America’s traditions of citizenship, enterprise, and prosperity. Second, NGOs in Washington, an entrenched bureaucracy, and organizations like the Trilateral Commission prioritize internation...

Utopia

The Devil promises a utopia of worry-free egalitarianism beckoning you to an Orwellian hell of despondency. Its a matter of giving or taking. Work for your family and community supporting the common good, or take from the wealth of those who produce and promise benefits to those who do not and those destroyed by the theft of their own creation.

Inflation

Many retail investors buy individual stocks with growing confidence in a narket that has a long run. Many fail to appreciate the way the market reflects inflation. Company revenue consists of inflated number,s as does cost and profit, thus the market reflects true inflation which must now be near 100%.
