Burried deep in our DNA the cartoon remains a primordial means of communication as deep rooted as the cave drawings of a million years ago; it may have preceded speach as a means of expressing subtle meaning.
These savage murders drive a stake into the very soul of this fundamental means of satire, more than free speech, it threatens our most primitive means of dessent -- reminiscent of the resistance during WW II. The outpouring of emotion in Paris seems proportional to the depth of that threat. Je suis Charlie.
Cancel the passports of all Persons who cannot show primary allegence to the country sheltering them. Globalization may be more cruel than Colonialism, but that's another subject.
