Politics 2023

 No longer right versus left, conservative versus liberal; abortion, racism, equality and spending no longer define the issues. While still political, Totalitarianism versus Representative government underlies nearly all of the rhetoric. 

Personal and economic freedom, self government and a rule of law allowed the American Revolution to succeed, leading to the highest standard of living and the greatest economic power yet conceived. 

A concentration of wealth among unscrupulous oligarchs from within, however, and totalitarian communist interests from without threatened our freedom from the beginning. A multi faceted sedition from both within and without  now threatens our Republic. The threat comes from both political parties and from large segments of our bureaucracy along with richly financed Communist subversion.

Time for all special interests and citizens to take head, secure fair elections and clean house, totalitarianism sucks.
