Alaska Floatplane: AVAILABLE ON KINDLE
Friday, July 08, 2005
Digging through the attic, I came across a dusty packet of journals from the time of my move to Alaska. Reading these early accounts of the move, the plane and starting a bush flying business, there was a palpable sense of excitement, fear and at one point sadness over the death of my mother. Some of this material seems just the ingredient needed to humanize some of my ramblings about the specifications of N3654Charlie. I seem forever stuck in the process of final editing of this Book. The title too has been a moving target. We are now down to Alaska Floatplane, Brown Bear & Survival Adventure. “Sex and the Seaplane” has been reduced to a semi humorous chapter. There seems more work to editing than I would have believed --- “And miles to go before I sleep.”
