Foreclosures, the Housing Crisis
2. Banks have placed an illegal clause in mortgages wherin the borrower foregoes his or her legal right to retain their home in the case of bankrupcy.
3. There were criminal charges and jail time with the previous three banking scandles. None have been filed thus far in this one -- arguably the biggest scandel yet.
4. The President could issue an executive order negating the banks right to foreclose in cases of legitimate bankrupcy.
5. Better yet, let the banks that hold these fraudelent mortgages and all the rebundled hedge fund, derivitives and credit default swaps -- more fraudulent yet -- go belley up and declair the fraudelent mortgages null and void -- thus poring vast buying power into the market whilst removing vast ill gotten wealth from the international consortiums responsible for this mess.
6. Who still believes deregulation is a good thing -- packed like sardines, breathing foul air on unregulated airlines.
7. But what do I know?
