Hughesair (Inflection Point)

Retired physician and air taxi operator, science writer and part time assistant professor, these editorials cover a wide range of topics. Mostly non political, mostly true, I write more from experience than from research and more from science than convention. Subjects cover medicine, Alaska aviation, economics, technology and an occasional book review. The Floatplane book is out there. I am currently working on Hippocrates a History of Medicine and Globalism. Enjoy!

Katherine Jenkins The Rotarian If Western Civilization has a sole, this young lady exposes it. "If music be the food of love--" We are seeing the last gasp of a failed industrial age with its degenerate behavior: drugs, baggy pants, gangs and in your face super stars killing themselves and us with their defiant greed. Katherine heralds a new civility and culture; hopefully it will accompany a technological revolution and a new beginning. Katherine the Great hints of a positive future. You can see it in the smiles of these British troops.

Hi Clancy,
I see from your post that you don't know that Katherine is a hard drug taker until age 23 ie until 5 years ago. As for visiting British troops her publicity machine keeps pusinh this out but she had a flurry of visits when she intially became famous but no visits for the past 3 years.
However, I still like her ... !!
She has some soul.
