Hughesair (Inflection Point)

Retired physician and air taxi operator, science writer and part time assistant professor, these editorials cover a wide range of topics. Mostly non political, mostly true, I write more from experience than from research and more from science than convention. Subjects cover medicine, Alaska aviation, economics, technology and an occasional book review. The Floatplane book is out there. I am currently working on Hippocrates a History of Medicine and Globalism. Enjoy!

If we count all the money in the world expressed inUSD, that’s all the cash, coin and deposits, 6.6 trillion dollars. Then, divide that total money by the world population, 7.9 billion people, each person would have  only $835.44. That’s just one reason globalism and equality, even if you could make a redistribution, can’t work. That’s a lot of money for some, but total poverty for the developed world. Ah, but the Communists could do it. They would just keep half of everyone’s cut for themselves.
