Disheartening, the internet wars are all but lost. The FCC in its wisdom, the guardians of ether, has relieved the Bells of the requirement of selling internet access wholesale to your ISP! Guess what --- no more ISP. With a promise of better service, the LECs have eliminated their competition. Am I the only one concerned about the telephone company requiring all smtp to be routed out through their servers? What price monopoly. Lets complain to the FTC.
