War 'Czar'

3 Generals Spurn the Position of War 'Czar' - washingtonpost.com

"The White House wants to appoint a high-powered czar to oversee the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan with authority to issue directions to the Pentagon, the State Department and other agencies, but it has had trouble finding anyone able and willing to take the job, according to people close to the situation."

My point exactly, the more of a war structure we create the more war! The President is the commander and chief. His civilian Cabinet got him into this mess, not the military. What is a War Czar supposed to do, conquer the world. That was tried with globalization; it did not work. Yes, give the military a command structure but leave the civilians out of it, just one, the commander and chief. He takes full responsibility! If he can't hack it maybe, just maybe there was a mistake. My suggestion was to close the Pentagon, or turn it into a nursing home. The Neo-cons will destroy us yet. And I'm a conservative. When the Administration is week, traditional the State Department carries the ball. That does not work because the VP has too much power along with what amounts to his war cabinet and State is week. Civilians, can't shoot strait. Did not the VP prove that as well.

Oh well.
